OVER 10 REPORTS TO BE DISCUSSED BEFORE RECESS
County Assembly of Kakamega will witness a beehive of activities in the coming one week before the House goes for short recess later this month.
House committees have retreated to finalize on various reports based on oversight and legislation roles.
Committees on Health Services, Education, Transport, Monitoring & Implementations, Agriculture and Budget are among the 17 committees that are working on their various reports.
Addressing Members of County Assembly (MCAs) and staff during a retreat, the Majority Whip, Hon. Dickson Ombayo said they were determined to have all reports set for tabling and debating by Tuesday next week (15th, October, 2019.
Hon. Ombayo added the reports were crucial in helping the county government in implementation of various projects.
The House will be going for the short recess on 25th October, 2019.
