Minority Leadership

Hon. DAVID NDAKWA – LEADER OF MINORITY

Hon. Ndakwa was born in 1973 and did his Kenya Certificate of Primary Education in 1987 at Kalenda primary school and later joined Samitsi secondary school for his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education in 1991.

He holds a Degree in Information Science from Moi University and a Diploma in Information Studies from the University of Nairobi. He has worked as Managing Director of Pavement Publishers (2017-2000).

He also served as the Leader of Minority in the Second County Assembly (2017-2022) and has been re-elected.

He is the principal leader of the minority caucus and is responsible for;

  • Developing the minority position.
  • Negotiation with the majority party.
  • Directs minority caucus activities on the floor and leading and defending debates for the minority.
Hon. RODGERS MWANGALA NATO – DEPUTY LEADER OF MINORITY

Hon. Nato is a Certified Public Secretary (CPSI) from Mombasa Polytechnic (1989-1991) and an alumnus of Kakamega School (A-Level) – 1982 to 1983 and Ingotse High School (O-Level) – 1978 to 1981.

He has worked as a Bursar at Chebuyusi High School (1997-2017), Accounts Clerk at Chebuyusi High School (1992-1997), as an Untrained Teacher at Bukhakunga and Namirama Secondary Schools (1984-1988) and as a Wages Clerk at Richfield Engineering Limited – Pan Paper.
